Recover an editor project one change at a time

The Edit Room Recovery Log is a curated reference for Premiere desktop, DaVinci Resolve desktop and Final Cut Pro for Mac. It does not read files, reset preferences or install software.

Record the context before choosing a fix

A numeric code belongs to a specific product and event. Note the installed build, system, phase and short visible message. Leave out private file paths, names, tokens and complete crash logs.

Preserve, compare, retest

  1. Back up the project and keep the original before resets, updates or migration.
  2. Choose a route that actually matches the product, build and media context shown by the tool.
  3. Retest a small controlled reproduction after one change, then record what happened before trying the next.

Treat version coverage as a boundary

The existing reference includes scoped Adobe recovery documents and a specific 25.5 import issue, Resolve 20 relinking and render-cache paths, and Apple's Mac troubleshooting plus an 11.2 RED RAW fix. Other builds, beta releases and unrelated messages can be unverified. A checked box records your progress; it does not confirm a repair.

Keep the limit in view

A published route may fit only an exact build, format or hardware combination. The reference cannot diagnose hardware or promise that an editor will stop crashing.
